Which terms and usage policies apply?
The terms of service cover the website, dashboard, REST API, MCP, CLI, SDK, plugins, renders and 3D models. Your plan determines the license; a separate written Enterprise agreement prevails where it differs. The privacy policy explains personal-data handling.
Billing
How much does Car Image API cost?
An image costs 1 credit. Free includes 100 credits once at signup for evaluation and personal projects. Pro costs $29/month with 25,000 credits per month; Business costs $99/month with 150,000 credits per month. Paid plans include a commercial license while active. Enterprise is custom. Use get_pricing for current monthly and yearly prices, limits and 3D pricing.

Can I use images and 3D models commercially?
Pro, Business and Enterprise cover commercial use in your own websites, apps, listings, documents, marketing and other products. The license is worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable and royalty-free; no attribution is required. Free is for evaluation and personal, non-commercial projects. The same license applies to paid-for 3D models.

Can I store images on my own servers or CDN?
On a paid plan you may download and keep copies on your own servers, CDN or storage to serve your own products. Those copies remain subject to the license and its duration. Ordinary hosting of images in your product does not require a separate agreement.

Are manufacturer trademarks and vehicle designs licensed?
Renders illustrate catalog vehicles and are not OEM photographs or manufacturer-approved assets. 3D models are built from renders, not scanned from real cars. Meter is not affiliated with or endorsed by vehicle manufacturers.
Plans
How do Enterprise agreements work?
Enterprise is priced under a separate written agreement. It can define allowances, vehicle limits, term and additional rights such as bulk export or a perpetual license to assets delivered during the agreement. These rights are not automatically included with a standard subscription or credit purchase.

Is my vehicle or regional model supported?
Check the live catalog with search_vehicles or resolve_vehicle, including the make, model and year. Regional names and available years vary. Do not infer coverage from a similar model or an old email. A stable veh_ id identifies the catalog vehicle and can be passed to image and 3D tools.

Which views, colors and image formats can I use?
Choose from eight camera views: front, rear, both profiles and four three-quarter corners. Use one of 15 named paint colors or any hex color. Images support PNG, WebP and JPG up to 1024 pixels, width and height, contain/cover/inside fit, solid backgrounds, trim and padding. Use list_image_options for exact values.
3D models
How are 3D models billed and delivered?
Use get_pricing for the current credit cost, then create_3d_model once the human agrees to spend it. The account pays once per vehicle and color; a re-order already owned by that account is free (billing.already_owned). A failed model is refunded. Poll get_3d_model to check progress instead of placing another order.
Billing
How do I cancel, change a plan or request a refund?
Open your dashboard to change a plan or cancel at the end of the paid period. Cancellation keeps the plan through that period; the remainder of a period already started is not refunded under the published terms. Review the amount before confirming a plan change, which may invoice a prorated difference immediately.
Account
What data is stored, and how do I manage account access?
The privacy policy describes account information, credit and purchase records, hashed API keys, API usage and support messages. Full API keys are shown once and cannot be recovered. Revoke a leaked key or disconnect an app in the dashboard. Connected apps have image and account access, not unrestricted billing access.
